Since Starbucks all over are closing, I wanted to show you how I make iced coffee at home. Really all I do I brew a pot of coffee and let it cool to room temp, then refrigerate it for when I want iced coffee. It really is as simple as it seems. But ratios are important! Also it seems stupidly simple that you can just brew coffee and drink it iced, but when I tell people that’s what I do they seem amazed. So I figured whoever else is in the dark on this issue should be brought to the light. So follow along and let’s make dope af iced coffee together. First thing’s first. We need to grind some coffee. However much you grind you want to use 1g ground coffee to 18g of water. We normally do 84g of coffee and fill it up to the 10 on our coffee pot. (That’s just how it’s worked out so we don’t have to weigh out our water each time) Then just brew the coffee. Let it sit until it’s no longer hot. Once your coffee is no longer hot, take out your favorite coffee creamer. My favorites are Italian Sweet Cream and Caramel Latte (preferably CoffeeMate but store brand works too!) The ratio for me is 3 parts coffee to 1 part cream. Stir it with a straw. And ice her up. Put the rest of the coffee in a container and refrigerate it for the rest of the week’s iced coffee. Like. Could it really be any easier? Thanks for following alongIf you make this iced coffee be sure to take a picture and tag me @martinezmade.co on Instagram
