Okay, I know we all buy oatmeal intending to one day wake up and desire a healthy breakfast that's easy and filling, but then never actually eat it because seldom is anyone ever actually in the mood for oatmeal, and when we are it explodes in the microwave making us regret our desire to make good choices in the first place. Is that just me? Well I hope not. Cause if you also experience such things then you too have a full container of oats in your pantry just begging to be made into something you'll actually eat and like. Hence... chai granola. Crispy little chunks of homemade granola filled with the delicious flavors of the beloved Chai tea. Let's make granola together...

Do I really need to say much to get you on board here? They're squishy, sweet, pumpkin-y with warm fall spices. I mean, hot, freshly fried dough covered in a glaze... what's not to want? The only "problem" is that they taste best fresh. So there's you're excuse to throw self-control out the window. Let's make Pumpkin Doughnuts together...
Squishy pumpkin cake layered with Cinnamon Cream Cheese and topped with Streusel. What’s not to love? This fall recipe is not what I’d call healthy, but there are way worse things to eat... I mean, at least it has pumpkin in it. This coffee cake is soft and perfectly spiced, great for a sweet breakfast or a coffee date with friends. Let’s make coffee cake together...
Yay for pumpkin and yay for fall. I can't wait to not sweat every time I walk out of the door. Crisp air and warm baked good. Ah, I can smell it now! Oh, wait... it's these Pumpkin Bars I smell. These bars are so good. They're pumpkiny, spicy (in the good way), they're honestly rather healthy, they can super easily be Gluten Free, they're soft, warm and perfect with a cup of coffee and a book, or for a quick breakfast/snack when you're in hurry. You should make them. Let's make them together...
Pancakes hold a special place in my heart because they're Jeremy's favorite breakfast. Growing up my in my family, when it was our birthday the rest of the family would wake up early and make us breakfast in bed. Every year. No matter what. Even if you had to be awake at 5 am, everyone would get up first to make you whatever breakfast you had requested. When Jeremy and I got engaged my sisters gave him heck about him having to continue the tradition. He's kind of a contrarian so he argued with them and made it seem like he didn't want to. But truth be told he's loved carrying it on. And I've loved making breakfast in bed for him too. It's so much fun. I really just love birthdays in general. Celebrating someone you love, giving them gifts, feeding them yummy food, and making them feel loved. It's great. And today is Jeremy's birthday so pancakes for breakfast it is! In real life I'll actually make him hash browns, eggs and bacon too. But this post is about pancakes so I left them out. But don't worry, you don't have to wait for someones birthday to make these pancakes. Let's make these crispy fluffy pancakes together...
I've been wanting to make these for the blog for SO long. I love bagels so much, especially everything bagels. Also, have you tried Parmesan bagels? They're a close second for sure. Plus any excuse I have to squish some dough and make the apartment smell like fresh bread I take it. Fresh warm bread is always a good idea. These bagels are soft, squishy, chewy, and they have the best bite. Let's make some bagels together... you know you want to.
This quiche is brought to you by Jeremy. He asked me to make a recipe for someone he works with. I make quiche from time to time but never have written down what I've done. The fun thing about quiche is that you can make it your own. If you don't like mushrooms then leave them out, if you love spinach then add some in. It's super easy. When I finished making this I brought it to him and had it in a container that he could bring to work so they could try, but after he tasted it he said he wanted it for himself. lol. So if any of you NBC people happen to read this, I fully intended on feeding yall this... blame Jeremy. But now we can make it together, lets make quiche...
the more smoothies I eat, the more I realize how much I love veggies in smoothies. I also realized that the color of the smoothie really affects how much I like it. Sounds lame. But it’s true. This smoothie started off tasting great but it was a muted brown... so I felt like I couldn’t drink it haha. So I added a little roasted beet and now it’s beautiful and yum. Let’s make a smoothie together...
I really feel like I’ve tried a lot of cinnamon rolls. These are my favorite. They’re the right amount of chewy and stretchy and yummy and full of buttery-cinnamon-goodness, oh and the cream cheese frosting YES. I love them so much. So so much.
Let’s make cinnamon rolls together... for Christmas I got a cute lil ninja blender with the personal sized blender cups. So obviously I’ve been making smoothies like crazy. This one came about because my sister, Mary loves all things orange creamsicle. But I wanted it to have nutrients too... and not just be yogurt and orange juice. Sooo let’s make a smoothie together.
My drink at Starbucks is a grande iced chai with whole milk, six pumps of chai and a shot of espresso. I love chai. I can't say for sure that if you don't like chai you'll like these. But I can say that I like them, lol, and so does Jeremy. So, let's make muffins together...
